Sales Account Representative

Your Day in the Life

  • You sell Creative Radicals software to GovCon accounts within assigned territory
  • You have a strong understanding of the US Government and contracting processes
  • You engage with clients at all points of the sales cycle: prospecting, product demonstrations, on-site presentations, quote, and close
  • You drive net-new revenue growth through new logo acquisition and expansion of current accounts
  • You educate customers and partners on packages and options applicable to their situation, demonstrating how features and benefits match their needs
  • You develop and execute strategic plans for your territory and build reliable forecasts
  • You focus on self-development through daily training and enablement

  • You have experience prospecting, forecasting, and closing deals
  • You consistently hit and exceed quota
  • You love closing complex, consultative deals
  • You are able to travel when necessary
  • You have active connections and network within the DoD and Intelligence communities
  • You have a minimum of 5+ years of sales experience selling
  • You have 5+ years of quota-carrying sales experience, ideally in SaaS (senior levels)
  • You are well versed in GovCon procurement processes and regulations, as well as government security standards and policies
  • You can build teaming relationships with relevant federal contractors
  • You are experienced in responding to GovCon RFIs and RFPs


About the Role

The Sales Account Executive will expand our customer-base and be responsible for implementing an effective business development & customer acquisition strategy – including identifying new markets, leads & opportunities and increasing the level of customer engagement to hit a revenue target.

Essential Skills and Experience Criteria:

  • A proven track-record in channel software sales in the US Federal government sector
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Revenue focus – understand the needs of the target prospects and passionately articulate the value that the company’s platform provides
  • Booking demos that culminate in real revenue
  • Demonstrated history of over-achieving sales targets
  • Highly regarded and well-connected within the national security, defense, and/or intelligence sectors
